Event Details
Students in Years 2–6 will work in small groups (3–4 students) to complete fun and creative STEM challenges, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills.
All equipment is provided, and afternoon tea is included for parents and children.
Challenges include:
Tower Triumph Challenge: Build the tallest freestanding structure that stands strong!
Eggs in Orbit: Design and build a device to safely land an egg after a daring drop.
Bridge Builder: Use limited materials to construct a bridge. How much weight can it hold?

Thursday, 6th February 2025, or when places are full.
A grouping request form will be emailed on 28th January 2025.

Cost
Financial members: $10
Non-financial members: $15 (Non-members will be waitlisted for approximately 72 hours).

About the Presenter
Yang’en Xu is an experienced educator specialising in STEM and Digital Technologies. He leads various STEM, Robotics, and Cybersecurity initiatives across Queensland and currently serves as Treasurer of QAGTC (South).
