Not all children learn the same way, and sometimes, conventional schools just don’t fit the bill—especially for our gifted kids. If you’re curious about alternative education options, join us for a relaxed and informative evening where we’ll explore different education styles. This is a great opportunity for parents, guardians, and anyone interested in alternative approaches to education, shared from the perspective of a mum with gifted children.

We will delve into what homeschooling is and the Home Education QLD requirements. Practical aspects will be covered, such as daily schedules, socialization opportunities, resources designed for gifted learners and how to tailor learning to each child’s needs and interests. Additionally, we’ll address some common concerns parents have about homeschooling and hopefully make the idea of homeschooling less daunting.

We will also briefly look into some other alternative schooling options, such as distance education, virtual schools, democratic schools.  We can’t wait to see you there and explore these exciting educational paths together!
